AGM 2026 & Networking, Frankfurt, April 2026
The German Australian Business Council held its Annual General Meeting 2026 on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 at the premises of our corporate member, KfW IPEX-Bank.
We are grateful to KfW IPEX-Bank supporting the Council with an excellent venue and technical support.
The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on the Council’s activities over the past year, including key events, strategic initiatives, and continued engagement with members and partners across Germany and Australia. Reports were presented by the Co-Chairs, Treasurer, and Auditor, followed by an open discussion with members.
A key highlight of the meeting was the election of the new Board for the 2026–2027 term. We warmly congratulate all newly elected and re-elected Board members and thank them for their commitment to advancing the German-Australian business relationship. Following the formal proceedings, a short film was presented featuring highlights from the Council’s recent visit to Verona, including the Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare. The film offered insight into the trip and its focus on business networking, cultural exchange, and the historical significance of one of Europe’s oldest continuously operating libraries.
Members and guests continued the evening at a networking reception. The event offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect, welcome new members and exchange ideas in an informal setting.
