Business Networking at Oktoberfest, Munich, September 2025

Oktoberfest 2025 kicked off with a unique opportunity to meet, network, and celebrate Bavarian traditions. On 28 September, members and friends of the German Australian Business Council (GABC) joined the annual Munich International Business Groups business networking get-together.

More than 220 participants gathered in the Münchner Kindl Box at the Festhalle Schottenhammel to enjoy traditional cuisine, Bavarian brass music, and lively conversation. Many guests embraced the festive spirit by wearing Dirndls and Lederhosen, adding authentic colour and atmosphere to the evening.

The event also welcomed members from the American-German Business Club (AGBC), Deutsch-Französischer Wirtschaftsclub in Bayern, Lions Club Munich Multinational, Irish Business Network (IBN), Business Club Deutschland-Niederlande (BCDN), and alumni groups from Arizona State University, Thunderbird School of Global Management, the University of Southern California, and the University of California, Berkeley.

Our Business Council members as well as ABIE members and friends thoroughly enjoyed this special occasion to connect with new faces and strengthen existing relationships. As one of Munich’s most anticipated networking highlights, the Oktoberfest event continues to celebrate not only international business ties but also lasting friendships and community spirit that the Business Council is proud to take part in.
