Austrade provides students with access to learning resources from Australian education providers

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) has partnered with social learning platform, FutureLearn.com to provide free online courses and help students stay ahead of the learning curve. Many students have been impacted by travel restrictions globally. Providing access to high-quality online learning resources from leading Australian education providers is a simple way to continue to support international students’ in their education and learning goals during this challenging time.

The ‘Study with Australia’ campaign will be available until 30 June, allowing students to study with top Australian universities and learn new skills. Students will get full access to a variety of courses across business, digital technologies, STEM, healthcare and teaching courses, to name a few, and the chance to earn a digital certificate for free.

ICC – WHO Global Survey of Business for WHO in the Fight Against COVID-19

Following the ABIE & GABC joint webinar with guest speaker John W. H. Denton AO, ICC Secretary General, on the ICC’S Global Engagement to Mobilise Business in the Fight Against Covid-19  (Event Review here) which was held on the 21st April 2020, the ICC has invited all ABIE members to complete the ICC – WHO Global Survey of Business for WHO in the Fight Against COVID-19.

The aim of this survey is to gather more information on how businesses are responding to the pandemic and to help identify solutions to prevent its spread. The responses to the survey will be used to provide updated information to businesses and to develop solutions that will help companies deal with the consequences of the pandemic.
